It’s crucial to understand God based on His own revelation rather than our own ideas. The Bible warns against creating a personalized version of God, which is considered idolatry. God is not distant or disinterested; He's deeply involved in our world and our lives.

God in Our Lives

God's presence in our lives is constant and personal. He's not a distant deity; He's actively engaged in every aspect of our existence. Acts 17:28 affirms this, "For in him we live and move and exist."

The Fatherhood of God
