The Leadership Team

The Way, as a community is founded on Apostolic and Prophetic ministry (Eph 2:20), is led and guided by Ascension Gifts (Eph 4:11) and governed by a circle of elders (Acts 14:23; Titus 1:5-9) and overseers.
The multiple facets of leadership operating in mutual submission to one-another provide a robust, stable and healthy spiritual eco-system that is raising up strong disciples of Jesus Christ.
Oversight
Our Oversight Team includes several of our younger leaders—men and women who are already carrying real spiritual authority and responsibility within our community. Though young in age, they are mature in character, proven in faithfulness, and actively modelling what it means to live a life shaped by Christ.
In the New Testament, the word episkopos (ἐπίσκοπος)—translated overseer—refers to those entrusted with spiritual care and governance in the church (Acts 20:28; 1 Tim 3:1–7). We affirm that leadership in the Kingdom is not about age, but about calling, maturity, and fruit.
These leaders help define vision and direction for our fellowship, bringing clarity, conviction, and the Spirit-led discernment of their generation. As Paul wrote to Timothy:
“Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers…” (1 Timothy 4:12).
We take this to heart. We don’t just make space for young leaders—we trust them, empower them, and walk with them as co-laborers in Christ.
